Audit Manager

Vanessa joined the Ad Valorem team in December 2005 and is a Client Account Manager.

Having gained a BA honours degree in Business Studies, Vanessa commenced her accountancy career with a top 20 firm based in Bedford. Here she was a member of a large audit team and gained experience in a wide variety of industries based up and down the UK. Also within this time she studied towards her ACCA exams and qualified in 2003.

After marrying her partner Mark in 2005, Vanessa decided she would like to work closer to home and moved to Ad Valorem. This enabled her to use her knowledge gained from the exams to benefit local clients and expand her services from that of just audit.

Living in Olney, Vanessa is the treasurer of a local committee responsible for town events including the annual fireworks display. Otherwise Vanessa spends the remainder of her free time running around after two small children!

After taking time off to have her daughter in 2008/09, Vanessa returned to Ad Valorem and now works three days a week.
